Teabaggers are complaining about Freedom Of Speech lately. They want Freedom of Speech to be how they define it. Let’s remember the town hall meetings where our Congress Critters were not allowed to utter a word.
Tea Party Nation defines Teabaggers as:
“Tea Party Nation (or TPN) is a user-driven group of like-minded people who desire our God given Individual Freedoms which were written out by the Founding Fathers. We believe in Limited Government, Free Speech, the 2nd Amendment, our Military, Secure Borders and our Country!”
Flash Forward. Now they are saying their Freedom Of Speech rights are infringed upon because we are upset about the complete imbalance of media allowed to attend their upcoming Teabaggers conference. I admit, it’s completely normal to allow World Net Daily and not ABC or NBC. Are you kidding teabaggers!?
When we wanted to listen to our Congress persons and Senators at the town hall meetings, their rights were infringed upon. The teabaggers were organized and it was intentional. Even if it meant our health was at risk, they didn’t care.
To cry Freedom Of Speech now as they’re allowing WND and not ABC is almost funny, but it isn’t. Remember when FOX got upset about not being invited to the White House after bashing the president 24/7? Yet it apparently only applies to them:
What seems to be grating excluded journalists, such as ABC’s Jake Tapper, who was complaining about it on Sean Hannity’sradio show the Friday before Martin Luther King Day, is that the invited media outlets include only those that haven’t bashed, misrepresented, or maliciously distorted the Tea Party Movement, its events, or its adherents.
The right to assemble privately and exclusively is as important in American history as…well, the freedom of the press. Causes that were once unpopular have become mainstream precisely because of the freedom to assemble, which means the freedom to assemble privately if the organizers so wish.
