    Comrade Anomaly: I posted it because it said that the CIA releases false info to mislead the terrorists. My point was that we don’t know everything that goes on in those interrogations nor do we know all of the intel gained. Much of the info is classified so there is no reason to have a leftwing kook fit every time there is a little press about waterboarding :-)

    Comrade Anomaly: I don’t care how many times they waterboarded KSM. I don’t know anything about how to interrogate a terrorist. If you are talking about real torture, something that is really painful – then there is a point where the victim will say anything to stop it. I don’t know that waterboarding falls in that category. You can use your imagination when I speak of “real” torture. I do remember reading that we got meaningful intelligence out of the waterboarding of KSM. I am puzzles as to why you even care about him. I think that KSM was waterboarded over a period of time. He probably said some things and we went and tried to verify the intel. If we could verify the intel, then we knew he was telling the truth. If he bs’d them, then it is on to more waterboarding. Noone will know because this is classified. Waterboarding seems to be the most extrem measure that we can legally do which is why it was used.

    As a side note, do you remember when the NY Slimes spilled the beans about terrorists being held in safe houses in other Countries? I believe that this was done to get them out of the jurisdiction of the US. It was done in Countries that do not have the same scruples that we have. Probably scared the living Sh*#@t out of them so that the terroris would do or say anything to get his vacation at Club Gitmo.

    Comrade Anomaly. Get a life. KSM was the mastermind behing 911. Thousands of American lives were at stake. We had to use some very aggressive interrogation techniques. Waterboarding is certainly unpleasant, but it does no lasting physical harm. Nobody died or had any permanent injuries as a result of waterboarding. Your friend George Bush even had some lawyers for the Justice Department make sure that it was not torture before it was authorized as an inerrogation technique by our military and security agencies.

    Even the most depraved crimminals in this Country are treated humanely. The gitmo detainees had it pretty good as well. Why do you care how we treat KSM. Any other Country that captured a bad guy like that would have gotten far worse treatment. Why don’t you get your priorities straight and worry about something meaningful.

      @Rebel: You did not answer my question. I’ll present you with it again. How many times do you waterboard someone before you know a truth has come out of their mouth? 183 times? 150 times? 2 times? When do we know when we’ve heard the truth? We won’t.

    Comrade Anamoly. There are many success stories in the war on terror that we do not know about because to make it public info would not be in the interest of national security.

    Comrade Anomaly. Waterboarding is part of the training that our Navy Seals recieve. Is that torture?

    Do you think the terrorists are going to like us if we stop waterboarding? Go and study the history of the middle east. They are going to hate us no matter what we do. Obama closed gitmo, do you think they give a rats ass about that? If you make nice with them, they will percieve that as weakness. They will exploit weakness and attack us.

    We all love our Country. I do not dispute the fact that you kooks and flakes are patriots too. Why can’t we at least agree to protect our Country? These savages are blowing up innocent children and beheading our fellow Americans.

      @Rebel: Now let’s get honest here. I think you guys enjoy a little sadism. Aren’t we supposed to just ask them before we put them through “enhanced interrogation.” KSM did not say anything valuable after being waterboarded at least 183 times. Now logically, after the first hundred or so, when is he telling the truth here? Aren’t we wasting our time with that parasite? We need to move along, charge the son of a bitch & toss him in a cell with his new cell mate, a white supremacist named ‘Spike’. KSM can be Mrs Spike. Listen Rebel, I was close to Harrod’s when it was bombed years ago & in New York when the Twin Towers blew to bits. I know about cruelty, but I don’t ever, ever want us to turn into the very people we detest. As Shep Smith, from FOX (one of your own) said, “This is America and we do not torture!” Amen to that!

    If torturing one terrorist suspect could have prevented 911, then I say TORTURE-TORTURE-TORTURE.

      @Rebel: The problem is, the “B” word knew this attack was likely. We’ve tortured people that were innocent and now they hate us. You can not prove that any good information came from torture. Mr Rebel, did you see Hannity when he said he’d be waterboarded? Keith Olbermann offered to charity thousands of dollars for every second he could endure it. I haven’t heard a peep out of him it that since.

      Comrade Anamoly. What makes you so sure that KSM did not say anything valuable when he was waterboarded? Were you there? I’ll bet there was valuable intel that we are not aware of because it is classified info.

      Sorry, Shep Smith does not speak for me. Shep is just a pretty boy in a suit. I don’t think he speaks for conservatives.

        @Rebel: I am only taking the CIA, FOX, FBI, Gitmo guards & the Washington Post’s word for this. I suppose you find that naive of me? Anything that KSM said, did not happen. That was the product of what came out from being waterboarded 183 times, or more. You didn’t answer my question. How do we know when the truth is the truth? After the first time, the hundredth time, or the 150th time?
