They have no leader. They’re fighting….with each other. The almost all white Tea Party Convention with Tom Tancredo speaking says it all.
He has ostracized almost every race except his own. If they let this man speak, then he must represent their cause, whatever that may be. He certainly isn’t fond of Latinos. The Teabags can forget their vote.
If they let WND come to their convention and not other media, then WND must have their respect. Joey Farah is one of the antagonists in the birther movement.
Which brings me to Sarah Palin who has stated that the legitimacy of President Obama’s birth certificate is “rightfully” an issue with the American public, and that it is “fair game” for politicians to question Obama’s citizenship. A birther! She is a birther and she is a speaker at their convention.
Orly Taitz herself tried to get invited to this shindig. In all of this, where is Lou Dobbs? Surely, he deserves an invitation!
How can they be taken seriously? They’re insane but there are quite a few of them. The Tom Tancredos. The sign holders. The Socialist calling, Maoist screaming, lib hating, Marxist screeching, costume wearing insane voters, and there are quite a few of those.
They’re fighting against taxes they won’t have to pay. They have no clear stance on anything comprehensible. They’re fighting amongst themselves over who their leader is. Some say they just don’t have need a leader:
“This movement doesn’t need a leader,” said Anthony Shreeve of the Tennessee Tea Party Coalition, which did not take part this weekend but staged a counter news conference outside. “It’s a ‘We the People’ movement.”
So, should we worry? These people and the far right wingers shouting about a revolution can be trouble, but I don’t think they have a shot in hell of winning in 2012 though. Unless the election is in a psych ward.
