Dick and Liz, America's Patriots

Dick & Liz Cheney have a selective memory problem.  If they truly are worried about our country’s security, then why is Dick attempting to make our new President look weak?  Maybe he wants us to be attacked.


If he thinks President Obama is not keeping us secure, then why is he telling the world and not President Obama in a one on one talk?


Is he thinking this would make him look better? Is his side kick, Liz attempting to get Dad off the hook? I think, yes on both counts.


Liz Cheney seems to have forgotten about a presidential daily briefing that said Osama bin Laden was determined to strike within the U.S. The daughter of the former vice president believes that military tribunals for terrorists following the 1993 World Trade Center bombing would have resulted in important intelligence that could have prevented 9/11.

“What you have is a situation, unquestionably we went through a period in the nation’s history we dealt with terrorism as law enforcement matter,” Cheney explained to Fox News’ Chris Wallace Sunday.

“As Attorney General Mukasey pointed out when we prosecuted and convicted people after the ’93 World Trade Center bombing and East Africa bombing, what it got us was 9/11 and 3,000 dead Americans.”

    Cheney’s policies of using illegal torture and the never ending Gitmo fiasco recruited more people to terrorists organizations than any single act in history.
    That alone has made us less safe for a generation.
    The only act that could recruit more is if he started bombing Muslim children’s hospitals, and he had to be talked out of that act.

      @neo: I believe Cheney & Bush had different views on waterboarding. I think that’s what Cheney implied. Of course, I’d be taking the Soulless One’s word for it, and that is iffy at best. I think Bush was the puppet & Dick was the sadistic puppeteer.

    @ Anomaly, @ Neo: Okay, so I agree with 99.9% of what Cheney says. Nonetheless, the Bush admin kept us safe. You should appreciate that at least.

    Only somebody as morally corrupt and intellectually challenged as Cheney, could support himself, or his participation in the disastrous Bush administration.

      @Neo: Speaking of “outing,” did you hear that Dick Cheney is supporting repealing DADT? This is the Twilight Zone, apparently. I guess if your daughter is gay & watching your back, then maybe, just maybe, you’d better not knock the gay community that are protecting us in the military.

    Cheney and Bush did a fine job protecting this Country. I think he feels obligated to speak out about security lapses in the Obama administration. I agree 100% with everything he says. He will go down in history as the finest VP we have ever had.

      @Rebel: You told me that DADT is bad for us, bad for the military and puts other soldiers at risk, right? Well, have you read that Dick is supporting repealing DADT? Be careful who you support. They may prove to disappoint you. So, now can you still say that Dick kept us secure?
