GOP: The Party Of Denial

The Stimulus did exactly what it was intended to do.  The signs of economic recovery are everywhere.  Unless, you’re in denial. Their selective memory is astounding, but their complete denial is all too obvious.


Like Rush Limbaugh, they want us to fail.  Too bad. It must really suck to be them:

    Comrade Anomaly: If you take the time to read the article, it is the “Messiah” himself who says the Stimulus is not working. You are contradicting the words of the Dear Leader. You need to be careful or you will be sent to a prison labor camp for re-education.

    Here is a comment on an article on Brietbart TV I think it sums it up very nicely.

    “Obama will come to be known as one of the nations best snakeoil saleman. He’s slick, unsavory, unethical and morally bankrupt. Stuffing the ballot box, uneducated ignorant inner city types and dumb white people put him over the top and that in itself gave us the mess we have today.”

    @Ron & Anomaly: What a bunch of losers you two are. Blame it on Bush eh? We had prosperity during the Bush Years. Unemployment was 4.7%. The Bush tax cuts stimulated the economy. You two are part of a minority that consists of only the most rabid kool aid drinkers. The MAJORITY of voters in this Country are suffering and you will have proof of that in November.

    BTW, the current economy is a result of Democratic policies and bungling. I have discussed this before, but I will say it again, the housing market collapse which through the world economy into a tailspin was the result of policies enacted during the Carter & Clinton administrations. Bush warned about the housing market 2007 but nobody listened. To be fair, we had a lack of oversight from the SEC as well which was a bipartisan government boondogle.

    Great job as usual,
    I don’t know what Rebel is drinking, but I want some. Funny the money hasn’t been spent, but they sure have spent a lot of the money where I live fixing roads and one bridge that I know of.

    I was on the Editorial Board of the Modesto Bee and we did an op/ed on the money that was already paid to the contractors. So Rebel is wrong.

      @Ron: I think they are expecting Obama to fix the country Bush/Cheney left smoldering & yet, we are not allowed to mention “Bush.” They have the audacity to blame President Obama after the atrocities and financial ruin they willed to us? Well, we get to say it: Bush Bush Bush Bush Bush Bush Bush! There, that’s better!

    Comrade Anomaly: You are seriously warped in your perception if you think that the stimulus is working. We still have double digit unemployment and record foreclosures. We have record deficits. Most of the stimulus money has not been spent, so it could not have had any effect anyway. You are chugging the kool aid again.
