Bobby Jindal Was An “Anchor Baby”

Republicans are sounding the alarm, wanting to repeal part of the 14th Amendment.  Surprisingly, Bobby Jindal supports Arizona’s new Immigration law, although, he was an “anchor baby” himself.

SEIU:

Piyush “Bobby” Jindal (born in U.S. on June 10, 1971)

Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal (who is nicknamed after Bobby from the Brady Bunch) was born six months after his parents came over on a student visa. Under Pearce’s proposed law, Jindal would have been deported to his birth parents’ native India. He would not have gone on to Brown University, to become a Rhode Scholar or Republican Governor of Louisiana.

According to the New York Times, “Piyush Jindal was born on June 10, 1971, in Baton Rouge to Hindu parents who had come to the United States six months before so his mother could pursue a graduate degree in nuclear physics at Louisiana State University.”

Would Republicans have wanted Bobby Jindal deported?

@burntpowder, most of the Illegals who are in the USA came on temporary visas and stayed on after the visa expired. I am not saying that the Jindal couple did so. But his mother was pregnant several months prior to her visa permitted her to come to the US to study.
