Have You Met Sarah’s Husband, Butch Palin?

It’s no rumor that Sarah Palin’s intensity over bad press is more extreme than most.  In fact, her defensiveness is more extreme than any politician’s that I’ve witnessed, but apparently, it’s family trait.


Her high emotion, extraordinary attacks on anyone and anything of a left wing nature, without rebutting in a sensical fashion, is common for her.  But now, she’s venturing into the real world, nonpolitical, back in Alaska, just meetin’ the town folk’.

How manly. How butch! How….paranoid.  The two of them on either side of this man, taking pictures of him as if they’d rehearsed this so many times before, makes me think of how a meth head acts in a paranoid state of mind.

    NOW I remember what this tape reminds me of…

    Know what happens when someone films people going into and coming from the Scientology Temple in LA? Their “Celebrity Center”? The members come out like ants swarming an anthill and surround the guy filming in an attempt to intimidate him, and ask the same question over and over to belittle him. They get into his face, swat at the camera….then, they bring THEIR cameras out and film HIM in an attempt to mock him.

    Aw, poor camera man. Did it hurt to have a picture taken of you?

    Seems to me that both sides are freaking out over nothing.

      @Uffda, Camera man? Is that what you Palinbots call ordinary people who use cameras and videorecorders when their spouse is leaving on a plane flight?

      Hurt? Maybe the middle of Hawk’s back where Todd bodyslammed him.

      Both sides? I would wager by now if there ARE sides in this contretemps, you’re in the miniscule minority. What the Palins did was indefensible considering their heretofore media pimping, but what you Palinbots can’t defend, you make up.

        And can you do it without the sophomoric, editorial comments?

        And may I ask you, what kind of “significant other” do YOU have that would not be protective of you if some aggressive whack job were essentially accosting you in an airport with a camera?

        As I said, if I were accompanying even YOU in an airport and someone was acting aggressively like this, I would certainly be a little pro-active in attending to your well being.

          Should I point you to the comments one routinely sees on Conservatives4Palin? They’re grade school level, for the most part, not even “sophomoric”.

          Who do you mean by “either of them erred or acted unreasonably”? Hawk Pierce and Sarah Palin? Hawk Pierce and Todd Palin? Sarah and Todd Palin? Or are you referring to my second paragraph response to Uffda (who seems to be MIA here), where I mention the body slam?

          You need to clarify before I answer that.

          To deal with your third paragraph question: my husband used to be a nationally ranked judo instructor, and he was always in a crowd of Olympic-ranked athletes who never were shy about wearing their Olympic or other USA logo athletic wear. “Celebrities”, if you will.

          He (and I, when I traveled with him — on our own dime) saw “aggressive whack jobs” frequently, just like major league baseball players do.

          In many different venues including airport concourses, we always stopped and the athletes, and sometimes my husband, posed for pictures and chatted with the “aggressive whack jobs”.

          My husband never had to fear for my safety, even though I’m a “nobody” and not an athlete, and I never had to fear for his safety, even though he was usually in a suit, not athletic wear, and not looking “athletic”.

          @Hank, How odd. A Palinbot won’t take anything but video proof that a body-slam occurred, despite the guy on the receiving end saying so.

          But you accept Sarah Palin’s word that she is the mother of Tri-G Palin despite ALL the video and photographic proof that she was as slim between February and April 2008 as she was on this ANWR jaunt with Greta VS and Fox News — Palin was wearing the exact same orange/yellow jacket then, and now — and that jacket fit exactly the same on Palin’s body then, and now.

      I too feel that this is a little bit overplayed. The guy was making a mess of himself filming them and he didn’t have to. He could’ve quit out of common courtesy after a while.

      But on the other hand Todd Palinn has to understand that he has a image to keep for his wife if he wants to be elected president. You don’t go around bumping people and acting like a tough guy.

    I assign fault here to 2 people. The moron that wouldnt stop filming out of just plain courtesy and to the presidential candidate Toad Palin. Think of the pressure he is under knowing his meal ticket isnt going to make it

    Wow, this is just too bizarre. She absolutely gives me the creeps. The whole third degree, who are you?, what do you do?, where are you from?- all incredibly passive aggressive. She was smiling the whole time but absolutely seething underneath. This could have been a complete non-moment but they had to make it into something by getting in Hawk’s face. It made me very nervous to see their reaction to just an everyday joe.

      @Peg, It creeped me out too. Butch and Sarah on either side of this man, taking pictures as if it had been rehearsed a few times at home. They act like two meth heads. She was so closed to occupying the second highest seat in the land & this is how she treats a man video taping her? Scary.

    Beginning at 3:13, Todd takes at least 10 steps toward Hawk, forcing Hawk to walk backwards. What a T.H.U.G. And look at Todd’s menacing look at 3:28!!
    If you wanted to take a video of a “celebrity”, how would you feel being treated like this??
    And the tubby guy with Todd is none other than Greta’s husband, John Coale, trying to use his girth to block the video.

    Man. I’m sorry. But is this what demonizing Palin has finally stooped to??

    You know, despite our differences, if I were walking through an airport with YOU and some little creep was being “pushy” and intrusive about filming you, I would be defensive in your behalf also.

    My take, the guy doing the filming…”Hawk” no less…is being kind of a jerk. The questions they asked at first were pretty much standard operating procedure for someone like her. Establish a “personal” exchange so she has some idea where to go with dialogue.

    I find this a ridiculous post and desperate attempt to try to find some wrong in everything she does.

    Sorry. Just being honest. Surely you can come up with something more substantial?

    Hi,

    this is Patrick from Palingates, we originally posted the video. This was a chance encounter that a citizen from Valdez had with the Palins. Hawk’s wife was on the same flight, he went with his wife to the airport, where he then spotted the Palins. When Hawk started filming, he had no idea that it would turn into such an controversial story. This should have been a boring 2-minute video of the Palins strolling around in an airport, but because Todd in particular chose to confront him, it turned ugly.

    I also would like to point out that the “second” confrontation with Todd, from 3:13 in the video, happened after Hawk had switched his camera off already for 10-15 minutes. He was sitting at the gate and didn’t plan to do any more filming. Todd then suddenly approached him again in this intimidating manner, which was Todd’s own choice. Nobody had provoked him to do that. It was only then when Hawk switched the camera on again. Todd really showed his nasty side there – a side of his personality which by the way was already very well documented during the Troopergate investigation.

    On the plane, Hawk’s wife was then actually seated right next to Sarah Palin, but Sarah realized that this was awkward and then changed seats with Greta Van Susteren.

    @Hank, This only confirms what she’s already made us aware of. This monotonous woman could not handle a man taping her? What would she do as President? Didn’t you once say you’d vote for her, or did I get that wrong? I don’t want to demonize you now. ;-)

    This woman is an idiot, yet on every blunder you and people in your party look the other way. By the way, Africa is not a country. I didn’t know if only the left wing were privy to that information. Is it the best you can do, is to hope we won’t notice when she makes yet another huge mistake?

    @Anomaly100, In my opinion, the encounter started out amiably enough. It took a little bit of a southward turn when he (Hawk?) acted like a real Richard Head.

    Todd was protective of his wife. Where I come from, how I was raised, that’s commendable behavior. That’s what we do. We do not take insult or attacks on our loved ones lightly.

    I will have to say though, that my experience with at least some Liberals has taught me they have no honor, courtesy or respect when it comes to forcing their opinions and ideologies on others. I have had A degenerate liberal attack my girl friend, my children and even his own family members because they do not agree with him.

    Not saying ALL liberals are such despicable degenerates, but there are some included in your folds.

    @Hank, If you compare all liberals to a few on the fringe, then I can compare all right wingers to their fringe element, of which I’ve had quite a few bad experiences, but you’ve already met a couple of them. ;-) How would you feel if Michele Obama acted in this way? Todd could very well become the First Dude of this country. Is this who you want to represent us? She is a vindictive woman. When there is bad press, she goes after them. She gets a lot of bad press because she is unpolished, uneducated in the grace department, and classless. I am quite sure that McCain thumps himself in the head daily for picking such a nitwit, but he’ll never say that publicly. I’m glad he chose her because he may have won if he had chosen wisely.

    A word of advice. If someone is a nut case, right or left wing, just keep your distance. There are plenty on both sides of the political spectrum, but this nut (Todd) and his wife can’t handle being a public figure, yet they crave it. Go figure!

    @Anomaly100, Greta is acting like the Fox news liaison with Sarah. One thing that is not noted is that there was an entire film crew there that belong to Greta. And I believe that Greta’s husband is involved in Sarah’s campaign. He is also a Scientology person

    Further, you seem to misunderstand either sophomoric, editorial commentary, or perhaps I just confused you using the two terms together. My apologies.

    Anyway, I have no idea what a “Palinbot” is. And I can’t speak for the comments on “Conservatives4Palin”, or for that matter, for anyone’s comments other than my own.

    And regardless what anyone may allege to the contrary, the way the left’s collective heads explode every time Sarah Palin sneezes, I’m sure had Todd “body slammed” anyone, there would be no difficulty finding a verifiable record of it somewhere.
