An Infographic So Mitt Romney Can Remember the Real Tax Percentage he Pays

Republican Presidential candidate Mitt Romney released his 2010 and 2011 tax returns this week showing that he pays 13.9%; less than middle class families and now states he really pays 50% which just is false. The inequality in our tax code and the justifications that go along with it, is harming the dwindling and now almost nonexistent middle class. The protectorates of the wealthy refuse to recognize their support of this tax code is endangering our class structure.

Since 1% Mitt cannot seem to recall what he pays, this very clear infographic should break it down for him.

How completely they forget the words of Adam Smith even as they ballyhoo him as the greatest proponent of the free market system. They completely ignore his advocacy of the wealthy paying not only their fair share but even more. The proponents of today’s free market system not only want to pay less, some advocate paying 0%.
If there was such a thing as a truly free market system, then we should not use our military to protect merchant ships on the high seas. When there are corporations in foreign countries that are experiencing uprisings of various sorts then we should let these corporations defend their own interests and not send our military paid for with all tax payer dollars to defend the corporations interests. The stewards of these large corporations are the very ones who claim the needy should pull themselves up by their own bootstraps, yet when they have a problem they feel no qualms about using tax payer dollars to solve their problems. I wonder do these stewards ever have bootstraps?
